Hello and thanks for visiting my blog.
I’m a 22 year old student who has recently graduated from a journalism degree at Bournemouth University in the UK. When compared to my other blog The Cainage Critique, For the Road aims to be more serious and professional; you’ll see my opinions on particular world and political issues, media topics and hopefully a few insights into my travels. It goes without saying that all views here are entirely my own.
In terms of figuring out what I’d like to do as a profession, journalism or otherwise, that’s still up in the air but I’ve always been very passionate about writing. My time at Bournemouth (especially my study of Global Current Affairs) has really opened my eyes to all sorts of worldwide issues, ones which I like to follow and consider on a personal level. I would also love to travel, see the world and broaden my horizons as well. In September 2016 I started a part time masters in International Politics at City University London which could lead to something along the lines of diplomatic work.
